| Poultice |
| Avram was born a short time before The Turning into a village of outcast
"Dar Khelegur" Elves living on the isle of Stormvald in the far
east. The Elves here were a band of All-Father fearing people that wandered
in the wilderness since the fall of the Dragon and the Deathless Empire. Avram was an acolyte and starting to be trained in the arts of healing even before he reached his full height, but he always felt it wasn't his true calling. Avram's father, a master Blade Weaver, was head of the guard of the village and wanted his son to take up Bladeweaving as to keep the art alive. And so it was that Avram began training in the ways of the blade and let his healing slip away to just a knowlage of restoration. On one quiet day the village was attacked by a group of Northmen and the people killed or scattered. Avram and his father were among the few left living but Avram's father was wounded in the escape and would die without help. Avram tried as hard as he could to remember his healing but all he could do was stop the bleeding of the wound and just couldn't save his father. Just then a rage entered Avram's heart and he took his father's swords and began wandering, hunting for any Northmen he could find. And just as he left his father and his life behind so he left his name and called himself Poultice as a painful reminder of how he failed and to rekindle the fire of his rage whenever he was in battle. He wandered for many lives of men, even as the world shook from The Turning he wandered on and on until by chance he came to Vorringard. There he was tended by the priests of the All-Father and given food and shelter. Then he decided to retake his training as a priest but not a healer, it was much too late for that. After some time he forgot his rage and began to love all things good and despise all things evil. He knew he could not stay in Vorringard forever and he must find a true home on his own. And so it was that Poultice left Vorringard and set out north to find a home. After some days of journey he found Clan Walker, and there he met a man, Naratic was his name, who invited him to make the Clan his home. Now he lives only to protect the people of Walker and to try to counter the great evils in this world. Finally, Poultice found everything he wanted, a home, a family, and still his rage lies dormant inside his heart waiting to burst if he gets pushed too far. Only once has he crossed the line while at Walker, and that earned him a name: "Holy Hothead". Now Poultice lives on, making friends and helping where he can. But who knows what the future holds... |
